Bear experience - Kent

BEAR EXPERIENCE

PARK: KENT

Our bear experiences are a unique opportunity to meet and learn all about our first two rescued bears, Fluff and Scruff, with exclusive behind the scenes access.

Walk through their large enclosure to scatter feed, before meeting the bears and giving them a treat in their smaller enclosure, then let them out into their large enclosure, where they will sniff out and hunt down the scattered food.

Things to know before you book

Bear experiences run from the beginning of April until the end of September on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Our experiences begin at 9.30am, outside of park opening hours. Only participants on the experience are allowed into the park before 10am.

Participants are required to sign the animal experience indemnity form before beginning their experience.

The minimum age for the experience is 12 years of age, and at least one participant must be an adult.

Our experiences are exclusive for your booking; you will not be part of a group.

Our prices are regardless of age. The cost of this experience will go directly towards the animal's care.

Participants will take advice from the keepers and should follow all instructions with no deviation. Our keepers retain the right to cancel the experience at any point if they feel that to carry on will be detrimental to safety or the well-being of the wolves.

Participants are welcome to take pictures and videos with permission from keepers. To protect the privacy of our staff, the use of a body cam is not allowed.

Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before date of booking. Any cancellations made after this time will not be refunded unless exceptional circumstances are involved, such as illness, injury, bereavement or severe travel delays. Proof of exceptional circumstances may be required before a refund is given.

Wildwood Trust reserves the right to change or cancel any dates for reasons such as extreme weather conditions or animal welfare issues and we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible.
