 NATURE WRITING WORKSHOP

PARK: KENT

£40 per person. Limited spaces available.

Saturday 17th October 2026

13:30 - 16:30

Celebrate the richness of autumn with a seasonally themed nature writing workshop set in the beautiful surroundings of Wildwood's ancient woodland. You'll be guided through a series of inspiring writing prompts and creative exercises, alongside readings from poetry and prose celebrating British wildlife.

No previous writing experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down and observe. Come explore the sensory wonder of nature and learn all about its beautiful creatures through a guided tour through Wildwood from a conservation expert and enjoy the art of embodied nature writing.

A collaboration between Wildwood Trust and local writer and nature lover Kali Varghese.  Kali has written professionally for live performance, radio, film and BAFTA Winning & Emmy nominated TV. She has been published in: Tangled Roots: Real Life Stories from Mixed Race Britain and writes about her global travels and adventures on Substack.
